Winged Griffin© (sitting) C6500
----------------

Gargoyles were first created in Paris in 1220 to keep corrosive rainwater from ruining the walls of gothic churches. They acted as drain spouts, spitting the water clear of the stone structures. When their decorative value was realized, these whimsical creatures were designed to ward off evil spirits. Our Gargoyles are very unique adaptations of the many gargoyles found throughout Europe. We hope they will keep your house safe and blessed with good fortune.
